香港長者協會乃香港註冊之慈善團體，亦是「香港社會服務聯會」轄下成員團體之一。創會初期，原為「香港社會服務聯會」轄下的小組，後成立註冊慈善團體。會址設於九龍長沙灣麗閣邨。

我們的執行委員會皆為義務工作者，大部份為專業人士，從策劃活動到實際推行，皆由長者或第三齡人士負責。我們的營運開支是透過不同層面的籌款活動，推廣有意義的計劃。

成立15年來，本會一直秉持「助己助人，老有所為」的宗旨，積極樹立「香港長者」正面的形象。我們深信香港的長者具備智慧、經驗和能力，可以透過賦權增能，繼續對社會作出貢獻，讓餘暉劃出彩虹。
