1999年，我見到香港的家庭問題日益嚴峻：父母子女間欠缺溝通、互不信任、全無關懷和親情，可謂家不成家。自古以來，母親在家中的角色非常重要，對家庭成員的影響十分深遠；她是家庭的靈魂人物，肩負舉足輕重的位置。
我有一個信念，就是一個開心的女孩，將來可以建立起一個幸福快樂的家庭。我想到，如果能夠給這些失去母愛的女孩一個和諧的家舎，她們的一生一定會改寫。我告訴自己：「關愛之家」的每一個舍員，將來都會成為這樣一個愛謢家庭的母親。
關懷弱小、照顧草根社群原是我修會服務大眾的宗旨。在修會的支持下，我成立了雛型的「關愛」院舍。目的是讓女孩子在生命中能經驗到愛，即使她們曾受創傷，如今在被愛的環境下得到治癒。我相信她們獲得療傷後，會懂得以愛還愛，他日為人母時定有能力建立起幸福和諧的家庭。
因此，我對入住「關愛之家」的少女的期望很簡單：女孩能感受到曾經有人愛過她，知道何謂愛，找到一份可以維生的正當工作，這我就已經很欣慰了。

Home Care for Girls is a short-term residential service center for young females. At Home Care, we provide variety of services to our clients and their families: 1.Residential care program 2.Individual counseling services 3.Family counseling and mediation 4.Temporary shelters for girls who have urgent need 5.Group work and mass programmes; 6.After care and follow-up services for discharged girls
