康和互助社聯會是由多個新生精神康復會服務使用者自助及互助組織所發起。成立的目的是結盟各個組織，使推動精神病患者互助工作發揮更大效力。聯會於1997年成立，1998年根據社團條例在香港警務處牌照課社團事務處正式註冊為社團，2002年獲稅務局承認為非牟利慈善團體
