竹林明堂護理安老院是竹林明堂有限公司營辦的政府資助服務單位。
本堂由1980年開始向香港政府申請興辦本院，1987年6月開始動工興建，1989年12月12日啓用提供服務，並在1990年4月10日正式揭幕，至今已經歷了20個寒暑，全力配合香港政府安老服務政策，為長者提供全面及優質的院舍服務。
Aim
1.To provide residential care with best quality;
2.To enable the seniors to lead a happy, healthy and active life;
3.To encourage the seniors to maintain contact with the community and families;
4.To provide nursing and personal care for seniors;
5.To provide social and recreational activities to improve the physical, mental and social functioning of the seniors.
