基督教互助輔導中心源於20多年前「的士司機小組」至後期成立的「職業司機團契」的一群曾受賭博綑綁的司機。透過當時的外國宣教士及牧者關懷輔導，信主受洗，脫離賭博綑綁，並在團契互愛互助中體驗　神的恩典，領受　神交託他們的異象，故於2004年8月正式註冊成為基督教非牟利志願服務機構名為「互助戒賭中心」，及後為了融入社區於2011年1月改名為「基督教互助輔導中心」。繼續承擔對問題、病態賭徒及受害家人的輔導、牧養和關懷等工作。 我們本著基督的愛與關懷，提供適切的專業輔導，包括個人成長並融入教牧輔導，雙管齊下提升賭徒的自我價值、醒覺，從而脫離沉溺已久的賭博行為。同時為心靈受創傷的家人提供適切輔導，提升他們的危機意識，放下對賭徒的過度照顧，從新認識自己，從而舒緩及平伏家人所面對的恐懼和困擾。透過家庭模式系統治療，讓他們重建關係。

1. To help Pathological Gamblers to reconnect and reconcile with their families and prevent damage to be carried to the next generation;
2. To increase the Awareness of the damaged done by Pathological Gambling in the Community.

Service Brief:
- Providing Family Services
- Providing Community Development Services

Service Scope:
1. To deliver preventive messages in the development of Pathological Gambling (PG) in teenagers and young adults in schools and in the community;
2.To empower and support family members or significant others of pathological gamblers to sustain general family functioning;
3. To provide guidance and counseling for pathological gamblers and family members;
4. To provide workshops for the public on the understanding of pathological gambling.
